greetings
workin on a sp250, car was brought to my shop in pieces, interested in any and all info -pics. Owner wants car done close to original but does not have to be exact. I will gladly drive 100-150 miles from my shop 17042 zip, to get a good look at a original car to take my pics of under hood, trunk, interior etc..
thanx skip

Skip- we are 100 miles apart, and while I've done some upgrading, I can easily explain what pure original would be. I could also LOAN you a an original service manual if need be. I've owned this car since 1969, so I have a fair idea of what was where. I'm in OR til the 3rd, then home for a few months or so. Send me a PM with contact info if you are interested.
The pics of James' car show what a quality faithful to original restoration can look like.

Another example of the VALUE of this forum!!!

I'd like to see James' pictures, but they seem to be on the "old " forum.....have they been moved to the new?

Lookin' good!

Once had an Aston-Martin DB 2/4 drophead trucked into the shop in much the same condition. Literal buckets of pieces-n-bits, no sorting or order to it. Engine pieces in with trim and miscellaneous hardware. Quite the puzzle. A lot of time spent hunting down accurate info. It was pre-BCF.
