I bet the owner/lister is wondering why, after a week, there have been no bids. It amazes me the way the Ebay listings make restoration seem like a piece of cake. Should we speculate on why this August purchase is for sale in Novenber?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

certainly an interesting and difficult project.
Barkers were one of the many coachbuilders that made bodies for your chassis. This was the practice then, the car manufacturer sold the powered chassis then the owner commissioned a coachbuilder to make a body to his requirement. (Not the car maker). I also think that Daimlers would be upset to being compared to Rolls Royce, as they believed that they were better and the car manufacturer of choice of the Royal family.

I can see it. Chopped, channeled, custom chassis and big block chevy with a huffer. Purple and white tuck and roll with a fully stocked bar to take up the extra space. Oh yea baby! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif
