So, 5 weeks ago today ! had nose surgery. From day one, had a problem with sinuses, draining back, couldn't blow my nose, miserable.
Got to where I could blow my nose, still a problem.
Saw the doc yesterday, sinus infection (gee, ya think the gal that checked us in with the worst cold I have ever seen out in public had anything to do with it?).
So, they put me on Sulfa, since I'm allegic to Penicillin, and it feels like I've been run over with a Mack Truck today.
And I have 13 more days to go!

Careful with that sulfa stuff, friend. Check yer temp with regularity. Mebbe hourly... and watch for tissue swelling.

Same issue with Penicillin but I tolerate some of the synth stuff better than any of the sulfonamides. I consider that stuff as topical only. Mostly for cow udders.

I do tolerate Amoxicillin.
