A sports car driver and racer from beginning to end. I knew it was coming, but it's not a feeling you can prepare for...

In June of '58 he was a founding member and office holder of the Eastern Connecticut Sports Car Club.
A year or so later he was a founding member of the Tri-State Kart Club. An organization that still runs today.
He raced TQ Midgets in New Jersey/New York from '61 to '65.

Condolences, Steve.

Difficult. My dad haunts me to this day. It's all the good things I remember.

Our condolences.

Very sorry for your loss Steve. Loosing a parent is one of the hardest things in life. Hope you find comfort and solace in family and friends around you.

Condolences

So sorry to hear but it does sound like you have many fond memories. I still think of my dad often, even 12 years later.

I'm very sorry to hear about your pop, you have my deepest condolences.

So sorry to hear that, Steve. Our sympathy.

In our prayers

My condolences, Steve.

It still hasn't totally sunk in. I can't believe it. He cheated death so many times that it doesn't seem like he could finally lose.
Our memorial is Saturday, it's going to be rough. Thanks for all your thoughts.

As pointed out, it will get easier. I watched my dad waste away from cancer 16 years ago and will I'll miss him to the day I'm gone I remember the good times and growing up. And am thankful for the life lessons taught.

Sorry for your loss. He lives on in your memories.
