Cylinder Bore/Hone

I am having a block bored and honed to .010 over stock. Can I use stock pistons and .010 over rings or will I need bigger pistons? I am not sure what to do here. Thanks in advance.

Yeah that's what I thought. Might as well go to +.04. Thanks

I wouldn't bore any bigger than you need to. Your machine shop should measure the bores and tell you how far you need to go to "clean". Pistons are normally available .020, .030, .040, and .060 over. The machine shop should have the pistons in hand before they do the actual boring both to know the actual dimensions of the pistons and know what the piston supplier recommends for clearance.

See Hap's recommendation for pistons to get a nice but manageable bump in the compression ratio.
