Custom radiator and electric fan stuff.

I just got my radiator back from the shop. I got mounts for my electric fan welded on, a fitting installed for a fan switch and a drain. Pretty cool stuff. It cost me $75.00 including a flush and a pressure test.

I still need to clean it up, but pics can be found at:

I can't wait to see if all this mess works!!

As always, your mileage may vary.

Smart idea having them braze on the mounts for the fan. The normal plastic or push through mounts that come with the fan suck. The electric fan will solve any summer driving problem you can dream up. I still use the mechanical fan , I felt there wasn't enough gain by eliminateing it, plus getting stuck because of an electrical failure blows.

Nice job! I wish I'd done that with the Hayden puller in the car, although the "through the core" mounts haven't caused any problems as of yet.
