Anybody have any GENIOUS thoughts on a custom Airdam for my 79 tr7. It already has a Buick V6,Turbo 350, and Mr Gasket Slap Shifter, I might as well make the Looks go with the JUICE /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif Thanks alot LANE /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif

Hey that sounds nice, you wouldn't happen to be running the turbo V6 from a Buick GN or Regal T-type would you? I saw a TR7 with that setup, man was that thing quick!

IM not but Ive looked into it, If one HAPPENS to fall in my lap, it would definiteley FALL Into the car, it is a buick 225 v6, turbo 350 tranny and a mr Gasket slap shifter... I picked it up about 3 weeks ago on trade for a Welder and Winch off my rover... It runs and drives fine......now my midget has to take a side seat. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif

Have a good one Lane /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif

In my opinion, the best looking air dams for a TR7 are the factory rally type spoilers sold by just about everyone that sells TR7 parts. I havn't liked any others I have seen.

I just saw those in the Victoria British catalog, they do look sweet, and I think they are only like 140 bucks or so. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif Thanks

Watch out what you get. There's reproductions that are made of fiberglass, and the OEM ones
(made of a soft plastic/rubber compound) recently became available again. The fiberglass ones would look good on a show car, but as low to the ground as they are, the fiberglass type would probably get a severe case of "curb rash" and/or cracks.

mightymg, that car looks an aweful lot like one that I saw for sale in Centerville a few months ago. It was a FHC and had some kind of scoop coming out the bonnet (I figured it had a modded engine). I saw it parked, came back an hour later to call the guy and it was already gone.

Anyway, welcome to the club! I'm sure Rich and I would love to go on a little drive with ya someday! As soon as I get my TR7 put back together that is...

Maybe, I found it on KSL.com, i traded a guy a portable welder and a warn winch for it, it runs good, i put a water pump on it, and plugs and such still a few bugs but yeah we should go take a drive, ill PM you. maybe you can come check it out. Thanks Lane /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif
