Curling Stones

I've been subscribed to this young lady's channel (Ruth Aisling) for a while now. She does mini-documentaries often revolving around her travels in Scotland, UK and sometimes other places like France. Her videos are well put together and usually interesting. I found this one about a seemingly mundane topic, curling stones, to be quite interesting.

We watch curling when it's on TV. I kinda enjoy it, the wife loves it. (y)

Now that I know how they are made, I'll enjoy it even more.

Would you believe the stones that are used in the Olympics cost from $5000. to $10,000 each! Average price for the commoner is around $700.
