Hello from Dallas. I just purchased a 1962 TR3B, TCF1278L. The PO owned her for 2 years, and the PPO, who did all the work to bring her back, had her for 10 years. I know that I will be seeking your technical advice, as she has electronic ignition and rack and pinion steering; and I am hoping that some of you have the same setups. My first car, back in 1961, was a 1958 TR3A, which I sold (big mistake) a couple of years later when I went in the Navy. It has taken me this long to "get back in the ranks."

Is it possible to attach a photo? If so, how do I do it?

Welcome, George - glad you were able to find another 3.

Best way to post a photo is through Photobucket, or Flickr. If you have an account set up with them, use the "Enter an image" icon above the field for typing messages - it's the fourth one from the left. When you click on the icon, it will open a window where you can insert your picture's URL.

We have a Members' Gallery here (see links on the left or under "Site Links" above. You can post multiple pictures there.

Also, when you make a post here in the forums, you can use the "File Manager" link at the bottom of the edit window to add pictures to your post. If the picture file is 120k or less, it will appear as a inline picture in your post, otherwise if it's bigger it will appear as a link that people can click on to view your picture.

If you already have your picture on a web site somewhere, you can use the "image" icon
image.gif
in the advanced editor, then "hot link" your image in your post. One word of caution though is that some of the picture-hosting sites don't allow hot-linking so that if you try to link to the image it will not appear in your post. Remember to use the URL of teh actual image (it should end in .jpg or .gif)

I see you successfully upload a picture to the Members Gallery! Congrats! Nice TR!

Welcome George, and nice car! You join Red River Triumph Club yet?

Yep! Joined about 6 months ago. I attended the Bedford Car Show/fireworks display on the Fourth, in the 105º heat, and my heart was in my mouth the whole 40-mile drive over there, from Allen. I am supposed to have a "minor coolant leak," so I was glued to the temp guage. It got a little over 85ºC (185ºF) and stayed there throughout the entire round trip. I even won a little "participants" plaque after the trophies were distributed. Of course, I just got the car the week before, so all I could take credit for was the wax job. The show was mainly Detroit iron, with 6 of us RRTC Triumphs and an E-Type. The fire ants tore me a new one - last night was the first full night's sleep I have gotten.

Howdy George,

"Welcome Back" to the wonderful world of "LBCs".

I`d like to add; Your back in real "Style"!!

How sweet She is!! I love that "Bloode Red Ferrari" paint.

Have Fun here and on the "Triumph" Forum as I`m sure you will.

Regards, Russ
