Have any of you guys relined the cubby box with something that looks original? Plus how have people finished off the fur-flex at the door top?

I bought a replacement cubby box from TRF. It looks great, went in well and has the proper fur-flex. No recollection on the price. I had to buy a replacement because mine disintegrated when I removed it.
cheers and good luck!

I know I have seen that fur covered cardboard for sale before, by the sheet. I'll have to keep recollecting, as it slips my mind where?!?

The good news is that Tinkerman was able to replace his and it sounds like the split-rivets bolt pattern was the same on the replacement and TRF stuff is often of high quality and originality, so I might purchase new. I did copy the door panels the best I could so a swap out should not be too difficult. The cubby boxes I was using were original, but I tried blowing them off with compressed air and most of the fury stuff went flying, much to my saddened heart. I love originality.

I like originality also, but over the years I've found that replacement is often the best way to go. My shop is bad enough as it is and fury stuff would tend to weaken my resolve. Any how good luck which ever option you choose.

Cheers, Dick
