CSRG Sunday Race posted...

Nice race Scott, the weather looked great as usual in Cali. If you can't find any HP can you get lighter?
I'm sure you've exhausted that option as well though.

For all the rest of the vintage racers out there if you want to see a close-up of the beautiful MGA racing in the videos above pick-up the current issue of Vintage Motorsports, https://www.vintagemotorsport.com/
This issue has a great profile of both Scott's and his pal Ed Lamantia's wonderfully prepared british racing classics.

Thanks Doug!
There really isn't any place to take any weight out of the car. MGAs have a monster frame rail and the fenders are very heavy. I did take about 50 lbs of body filler out of the car when restored. I do know the driver could use to loose a few pounds!

Scott- Your right about driver weight. I stepped on the scale a week ago and found the easiest/hardest way to remove 20lbs. from my race car. In fact I think I can even save some money by improving my power to weight ratio. I guess I have another winter project.
