Crypty Redlines Tach

Dale,

For crying out loud, I've been drowning out negative vibes about Crypty for two days, now you're starting in with them. They're just not allowed any longer. Smile and enjoy the rides....

Not to worry Paul-

A few tricks, high jinks, pesters

The battle has been won.

No negative vibes at all.

Dale! What a time for my computer to be down! this old laptop just dosen't handle video, so ' gotta wait to find a computer that I can watch on...
Glad to hear the good news

Thank you Dale.

Nice avatar! Much better choice.

Wow, you've only had it for a year! Seems like much longer and I haven't even been on the forum that long! Way to go Dale! I'm very happy for you.

Cool indeed!

Now I get to do the rather routine old car
puttering around stuff.

I think I'll start by rebuilding the
front suspension. What degree of difficulty
compared to the rear suspension?

Take it from me Tinster, STOP WORKING ON THE CAR ALREADY!!!
Enjoy it for a few weeks, reward yourself for you effort, and patience. Take a step back, drive it and enjoy it, then when your soul has been satisfied and your motivation for the next project takes over THEN jump in. I have owned 5-6 lbcs and they can frustrate the heck out of you. Drive it a while.

Ya know... maybe I am just overly emotional tonight, but I actually got a tear in my eye to go along with the big smile when the cheer rang out, "Way to go, Crypty!"

Great news, Dale! Now you can REALLY start enjoying her!

May there be no more big surprises... no more expensive failures... no more "Oh, great... what now??" moments!

I'm afraid that there are always those "now what" moments..
Lets all hope that they are easealy solved.

Hey Dale and David
Good work. And you've inspired me to get back to work on the Herald..... The engine is all built, ready to go. Just grad school, work and the family keep getting in the way.

Dale, this is great advice from the Roof. Take it and enjoy the car for a while then start to think and think only about the next project.

This has been a very grueling three months and let's see some pictures of you and Wendy in the car enjoying that beautiful island that you are lucky enough to live on. The car will always be there to work on when you're tired of driving it for a while.

Well, I took time to smell the roses all day today
and just enjoyed driving the car, cruising the San
Juan bay and pigging out on roasted pig.

Don't David and Wendy simply look the cat's meow
of having unforgetable pleasure in this photo? je,je,je.

Looks as though they're about to throw you overboard....soon!

They must have read your post about the suspension project.

I'd think that I'd wait a while if I were you, judging from those looks....wow!

Cyrptine, the car that tried to kill David.

Dale, you and David have made so many happy people, you have no idea how we were trying so hard to help and could feel your pain. Congrats and a big hug if I was there.

Wayne

In my experience, such as it is, just take your gains and smile about it. Don't crow yet, it's like asking for trouble. Just drive and smile and wait quietly. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
