I have been meaning to get this photo posted for more than 2 months! Dale was kind enough to send me a bullet mirror for my TR6 that he wasn't using. It was in great shape! I owe you one Dale!
Old Crypty is gonna wake up one morning real
soon and realize most of his DPO Pedro era parts
are missing. Either replaced with new, refurbished,
given away or trashed. Crypty is gonna run out out
ways to cause me breakdowns.
Crypty is, piece by piece, being replaced by this reliable
car named Amos. Old Crypty is too dense to see the change
coming.
The trashed stuff is sitting in a box waiting to be
dumped on DPO Pedro's front porch once Crypty
is off jackstands for good and Amos takes over
the garage.
The bad voodoo will end up back where it came from.
Dale, those Minis aren't what they used to be. I bet the old style of Mini would still have started. Mind you there wouldn't be much left of it. I believe that the front and rear crumple zones overlapped somewhere in the middle!
Those Jeeps are certainly made to last. I had a Cherokee until earlier this year and I loved it apart from the fuel consumption. The garage I traded it to can't get shot of it now with the price of petrol over here. He even offered to GIVE it back to me!

I can't help but think of ther Terminator movies where the guy morphs back together. I am afraid that if I ever tried to remove the mirror the metal may meld to rest of the car and take on a life of it's own!
Actually...so far so good. (knock on wood)
Your generosity and the overall attitude of this group of people and my local club keep amazing me. Where were all these people in 1988 when I got my first TR6 while I was in high school? Man I could have used the help then! I ended up selling it and getting a Toyota Corolla....being practical stinks!
