Today's the day. A little more wiring to connect, check the seals and lines, add some fluids...and maybe, just maybe we will fire up the B! Two years and three cars have gone into this build....wish us luck and we will post this evening!

I'll be lookin' for th' "VROOOM!!" post!

If you need a jump, tow it over to North Little Rock and have the Razorback fire up one of their Fairbanks-Morse dismals and run shore-power off the generator to the "B".

Rats, foiled again....
We got up early, ate a light breakfast an headed out to the garage. David began working on the fuel lines and hooking up the fuel pump and electrical in the back....I worked on finishing up interior, console, wiring inside and up front.
Spent 45 minutes looking for the headlights, found the new gaskets, 1 bowl, the insides...no screws or the springs that hold em together.
I very carefully bagged everything up when I disassembled it...found the bags with the labels on them but for some reason they had been dumped out in a parts box and scattered. (Those of you who are the only one working in your garages...say a prayer of thanks! I love that my teenage sons are into working on cars..BUT STAY OUTTA MY STUFF!!!!)
Finally, all parts located...and my parents dropped by for a visit. It was great to see them and visit, they stayed for a couple of hours. Nice conversation and coffee.
Needless to say, with the scavenger hunts through the parts boxes and visitors...we didn't get much accomplished today. Maybe this post will continue next weekend.
In the meantime...we are getting close. Y'all have a great work week. At least its a short one.

But I can't resist posting a few pictures....She will turn heads when she actually leaves the garage.

Terri;

WOW!!!!!
That looks very good, love those wheels on that car.
I may have to get back to your place one day just to see it in person.
Tell David you two do good work.

Dave and Annie

Well, David spent some more time today. It's sooooo close. It is cranking over but no fuel. Time to start the "'tweaking" and problem solving to get it running!
Soon, very soon...

Why, that car has no.....bonnet!! hehehehe

SHHH! Tony, it thinks it's a race car.

Dave :savewave:
