cross post from Triumph board - Painting parts.

Next weekend I am finally taking the tr6 to San Antonio, but pull the body off, and do the frame.

I was also going to blast everything I have off the car and paint what I can. So that means I need to get an order in for paint. Since I paid the 35$ for free shipping I will probably just order it from eastwood unless there are better products out there.

Does anyone have any feedback on what paint I should use for the following. I am mostly concerned with fading, followed by color and texture.

1. Black parts for the interior (ex. defrost vents and the like)
2. Grill, underplate for the grill, headlight buckets
3. lower front spoiler
4. hinges for the bonnet and boot lid (should these be body color?)

Also, if I get the body cleaned next week, can I lay a coat of POR15 or Eastwood's rust encapsulator as a base coat over the entire tub or will it end up being too thick?
