That stinks. Just be thankful that it looks like a very inept job - someone more experienced at wreaking havoc could have made things a lot worse.

Where's the radiator, gas tank, transmission and rear end?

I suppose, looking on the bright side, it could have been so much worse, if she had known more, or if you hadn't spotted it before you tried running up the engine.
I still find it intriguing that she just put a small amount of random stuff in there. Imagine if it had been sand or something!

Tab,

Just shaking my head here. Hate to see something like that done as beautiful as your engine looks (and I'm sure given all the hard work you've put into it).

I am glad to hear that you are back home with the car though.

Everything is in place except the gas tank and the radiator.

Click on my link to "The Resurrection" to see the photos.

I fitted the Weber's and the headers to the head on the bench today and everything fit's great. Tomorrow, I'll put it all back together again and get some more pics out.

Howdy Tab,

I just wanted to say "What a Great Job You`ve done with the TR"!!

I`m in process of a Body-Off on a `57TR3 & `65TR4 in the Wings. I`m a "Detail" freak but I can`t come close to Yourself.

Keep on Motorin` Tab,

Well Done,

Russ

Tab,

I only asked where those items were, to see if there was anything added to any of them, that you might not see right away. Have you checked them out?

This is umm... interesting.

WTF?!?! Sabotage?

Drain the pan and take it off. Inspect the oil. Residue on those rockers doesn't look friendly to me.
