Ever had a cricket in a crack in a floor that won't shut up? Driving me crazy!

Just when I thought civilisation had reached accross the pond - the sound of willow on leather etc....
 
Anyone have camel crickets in their basement? These critters are nasty. Jump right at you like giant spiders. We had a lot of them last year but so far, none this year.
