Closer to Spring! How good that sounds!

But here in CT at 7am, it's -1, skyrocketing up to a +15 before returning to the minus digits tonight.

What fun!

It is strange weather all over the country this year. I still have a few green leaves on my trees. That is the ones the rain & wind did not remove last month. 61 deg. outside as we speak. @ 1:40pm...J.D.

We keep getting conflicting weather forecasts here.
I like the one that says "Snow forecast for Friday,Saturday,or Sunday -
1" to 30" predicted.

It's snowing here, started about 10 PM last night, 12 degrees and dry, so nothing will melt off for a few days. Just read that tomorrow, Sunday, were to get 8 to 12 inches more.

It's been snowing here since about 7:00 last night. It's supposed to continue all day today and into tomorrow. The weather man says we should get around 6", which is lot for SW Oklahoma.

About 6-8 inches on the ground here now, came down overnight. Supposed to keep up most of the day and end now they're saying with perhaps as much as 15 inches. Plus cold, single digits in the mornings the next few days is what's being called for.

I drove to work this morning & as there was snow on the roads,
As there was snow on the roads,I put it in 4WD HIGH,& drove to work
trying to not go over 40mph on the highway.
Only 5 of us showed up for work.I made it home in 2WD,but had to
use 4LOW to get into our driveway.

That's one nice thing about now being retired, don't need to worry about going to a work place. In fact with the pandemic I was work from home from early 2020 to end of last year. I now use 10-15 miles worth of gas a week with that...

Yeah retirement is great. The only think I miss about work is the paycheck.

Yea, I won't make as much but I have basically no debt, I'm not one of those buy everything types, my pension is higher than I expected as they invested well and social security isn't bad. I'll not be rich by any definition, but between all that and savings I should be reasonably comfortable. And I could always sell the coin collection I've built over the last 50+ years.
