Here are some little niggles that are bothering me, and which I'd welcome comments about.
1) This is a new dashboard top/crashpad. I replaced the windscreen to body seal, and tightened everything down. There are three tabs on the screen that bolt to the dash, through the crashpad. I'm finding that the tabs bite into the crashpad and distort it somewhat. Not enough to cut the vinyl, but it doesn't look right. What am I missing?
2) Here is a view of the left hand rear light cluster. The seal doesn't really do its job, and there is a visible gap through which water could enter into the trunk. Perhaps the body panels are out of true. What should I do to seal this up?
3) Here's a view of the front grille aperture. It looks like the bottom edge has been repaired at some point, and there are pieces broken off around the bottom row of holes that the grille screw posts feed through. When fitting the grille, the metal fins tend to rub against the edges of the aperture, scuffing and chipping the paint. I know that if I repair and tidy up the aperture edge I'm just going to scuff it up again when I refit the grille /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif Anyone else have this problem? (In the photo you can also see a pair of holes that I think may have been used to mount foglamps at some point.)
