You rebuilt wheel cylinders?

They're like $20 each; not worth the effort/hassle IMO.

yes $20 each, but you better take them apart and check if they were assembled correctly. So, in a sense you get to rebuild a "new" assembly.
Never - ever - had a problem with the rebuildt ones I buy from Moss for myself or customers....& I've never opened one up to see if it was assembled correctly!

Nor have I. Ever. Only thing I do is burp the seal and smear some red rubber grease around.

& I try to buy a bunch of them when they're on sale for inventory.

Ok, let me get this straight. You were young 600 miles ago. How long is that in dog years?

41! Quit rushin me! Oh dog years. I'm 292.25.

Won't a bunch of cyls sitting around in stock collect moisture?

I've had the Moss cylinders installed for almost
the entire 1700 miles my car has driven in the
past 3 years now. I've had no problems.

d

Once upon a time, all hydraulic cylinders came with a light coating of a "preservatrol" on the outsides, with plastic plugs filling hydraulic ports, wrapped in a wax paper...

Those should last for decades unless stored under water...

That's got to be very frustrating as a vendor knowing that people do this.

.

What really sucks is getting the fluid on your wheels....
I hope Hap a source for paint for you. sorry to hears this one.
hope theres none on the car.

Car I'm not concerned with as the body has some decent issues. But this is the first set of brandy spanking' wheels I've ever purchased and that is the sad part.
