I have just installed a new fast road cam.
And now I am going to tigheten the crankshaft nut/starter dog. Is it ok to put a piece of wood between the engine block (oilsump removed) and the crankshaft and tighten the starter dog with a large monkey wrench, or is is any other way to prevent the crankshaft from moving when tightening the crankshaft nut ? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif
