Crankcase vent

While I am waiting for Joe Curto to finish working with my carbs I made up some pieces to give my crankcase a little more breathing ability. Not having the ability to weld a pipe to the fuel pump blanking plate I machined an adapter out of a piece of aluminum. Maybe it should be bigger than it is but I figure it is the same size as the rocker vent tube. I put a short length of hose from the adapter to a small air filter. A small bracket mounted to the washer bottle bracket provides support for the end of the breather hose. I just added several photos of my project to the end of my Webshots page.
 
Very similar to what I've done with mine. I also added a catch can to the valve cover vent system. Works very well. No pressure drips anywhere. I used to get oil out of the factory vent tube before.
