Crank pulley measurement

I would like to determine the "proper" measurement from the frame crossmember to the bottom of the crank pulley. The photo at the following URL shows what I mean. The camera angle distorts the measurement a bit. I am currently showing 1/2". Is anyone at a point in their restoration or maintenance that you can access this measurement for me? Just click on the image to get a larger view. My car is a 1960 BT7. Thanks.

I think that there are three different dampers/balancers between BN4's-BJ8's. That could throw off the measurement. I would look but I have two out being rebuilt and one at the machine shop.
