Hello to everyone. Newbie here. I have a 1977 MGB that has been de-smogged and has had a weber DGV installed. Here's the problem: I have an oil leak that seems to be coming form the rear seal. After doing a little checking, there is steady stream of pressurized air coming out of the valve cover vent (That connects to the C. canisters). When you remove the Oil cap (non-vented) the pressure is released but I suspect that the crankcase is becoming pressurized and forcing the oil out of the rear seal. Make sense to anyone? Any suggestions? Should I change to a vented Oil cap? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
