I am getting ready for the Supercharger install, Went for a drive this morning with the dogs and after I got home and let the TR cool down a bit I started the disassembly of the TR. The apron is off, radiator out, fuel drained, fuel pump off, generator and water pump gone. Now how do I get the crank shaft bolt out? The car is up on jack stands.. Very secure......

I used an electric impact and also an air one on another car

I just put it in gear, locked the hand brake and went at it. Worked for me.

This is what I did on my TR6 and it worked great...

Thanks for the idea, I don't have the extension piece because of the electric fan but something like that might work......

Right... I figured that the engine layout was different, but the general idea could be applied. Good luck!

I just went at it with an impact wrench. Took a long time - as in several sessions over an evening - but it eventualy just come loose all at once.
