Hmm, not tried that. Ok, you get to show us the 2x4 trick.
 
I have room for jack stands (maybe) and the tools, but not a 2x4!
I really appreciate the help guys.
Jack, I have a size 7 shoe.
 
A size 7? Oh well, there goes that idea. I guess you'll just have to leave the broken spring.
 
Barry, if you want to pay my way and get me the time off work, I'll come to LOTO with my size 13s. That's just the kind of guy I am -- hate to see you stuck with that broken spring. :devilgrin:

Think I will have a foot long peice of 2x4 which should be fine.
