Couple of Elementary Questions

Hi All, Working to get my B back on the road. First question, what do you use to put oil in the steering box? My Bentley's indicates that there is a nipple fitting. Second, inexpensive tires? I know that this has been discussed a lot of times. Currently have Avons, but the sidewalls are shot. Thanks, Mike

Concentious on rack seems to be, use a baster or something like that, open one end of a rack boot and add some 90 wt. oil, not much now. Can also open the adjustment box thing on the rack and add a bit there. Think the Dr. said 1/3 of a cup from clear empty to full for a first time fill.

Might weight for another opinion but that worked for me.

takes about 8oz from empty, or bout 1/3 cup. be careful and don't overfill 'em or you can burst the boots.
