Cortona Hill Climb...

Just recently found some snapshots from when I was living in Italy in '03. These are from a hillclimb from Camucia to Cortona. Plenty of LBC's, LIC's and LFC's. Even a few LGC's were there as well as a 1959 Corvette and two Ferrari's. Lots of Lotus' and Mini's, some nice Jags, one TR, a really cool FIAT 500. Well, just look and enjoy!

Oldest car at the hill climb and its British! Anyone care to guess what it is? To be fair... I only know the manufacturer.

Looks like an early Alfa to me... Maybe a triumph?

Shawn,

As with all your pics these are some beautiful shots of the scenic countryside as well as the cars. Thanks!

Nice

HOLY COW! Sideache, that second shot of the C type is begging to be a painting! It's so rare to see a shot of a race car, actually racing, without any indication that it's on a race course, and not just tearing down a country road.
Awsome pics... Thanks for sharing.

Well it is British and was made in Coventry. This car is an early 30's car. There is a close up of the car in the 'part 2' posting (ran out of room on this post). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
