Corsa Spyder...

I'd take off the Ferrari badges myself - stands nicely on its own.

X2
Might as well have a big sign saying "Hey, I am a Poseur"

Could you call it a "Faux-rrari"?

Phararee?

Here's another beauty-go to madaboutkitcars- look at the pic gallery for specials and one-offs,alfa gp single seater.Took the owner four and a half years to hand build it.I think it looks fantastic. When you cant afford the real deal, you just have to make it yourself!Stan.

Someone in our club has this kit car Ferrari. That Corsa Spyder sure beats the heck out of this thing. I love the way the Corsa Spyder looks like an Allard.

I'd drive one of those!

update on my spyder, not used at all this year as I have broken my ankle and collar bone in a ladder fall.I had always had a smell of fuel in the boot [or trunk] and found the filler neck was cracked on the old steel spitfire tank.I eventually ordered an ally one on e bay, special order, approx 6 gallon, beautifully made-and 2 days later crocked my ankle. Story is,I fitted it very slowly with my next door neighbour Michael, first fitting an aftermarket sender unit.It still has a top feed to make it easier for carb work etc.I also rigged up a good oil pressure guage as was not connected-60lb showing cold.
Maybe did not do myself any favours as I now have had an op on my ankle to pin it as bone did not take!2 stainless screws fitted, hopefully good brit metal and not far eastern!Have now GOT to walk round on crutches for next 5 weeks and keep foot off the floor.will have lots of free time to post, Stan.

OUCH! So sorry to hear of your fall. Hope you mend quickly and can get back to tweaking your Spyder.

Mickey

The body is still available,as far as I know, from Fiorano in England for ÂŁ2,000 and makes a cheap alternative to rebuilding a spitfire.

This was a fine and entertaining thread until you went and mentioned this. So I found their web site, and indeed, it's true. So now my various decomposing Spitfires and the wad of cash I have in an envelope are in danger.

This could be fun. Really good, stupid, fun.
