TR6 Correct finish for door striker plate

Can anyone help me figure out what the correct finish/color for the door striker plate (and the corresponding piece on the end of the door) should be? 1971 TR6. Is is natural steel finish? Painted aluminum color? Gold Anodized color? OR ??????? Thanks for you help. Bob
