General TR Correct Engine Identification

Good Day All

Engine number "CT59093E" was told came from a TR4. I'm thinking a 1965 TR4.
What sources should I look to for confirmation of the original year & model ?

Yeah - 1965 TR4A sounds right. This list also shows some cars and some engine numbers:

Probably built in late summer, 1965.
