Hello,
I had thought my exhaust bracket was beyond repair. After seeing how much it would be for another one, I decided to take a second look. It was bent backwards at a 45 degree angle and twisted pretty bad. After digging through my parts, I came across another bracket I forgot I had from a 59 bugeye. After being patient and shaping the metal, I can see that all I will need to do is weld a small piece on once I can find the right thinkness of metal. My question is this. The bracket from the 59 (on the left) is longer than the one on my car, a 60 (on the right). Were the brackets different for each year? If not, which one is stock? Thanks for your help as always.
