Corona Virus Sanity

Rick & Reid,
Your comments are spot on! I have been involved with organising Australian national events since 1977 when we held the sixth National Rally in Brisbane (the first in Queensland). We have established a five year rotation around the mainland Australian states, and it is now a two year commitment to organise a National Rally. Our 2020 event has been postponed for 12 months, so effectively cancelled for this year. I can't imagine the disappointment my friends in Victoria are experiencing. But, they are not alone! I'm just gob-smacked that such a thing can happen in our modern world.
Cheers,
Alwyn

Vette--

I appreciate your input and before doing anything I should probably start with getting one of the wall-sized wiring diagrams that I can study, and make additions/deletions upon. Does anyone have a source for one or must I take my manual drawing to the office store?

Reid, Rick, Alwyn, Mike and others,
Thanks for the shared thoughts about the disappointment of Conclave cancellation. Yes, as you said, considerable work had gone into the effort. A pity to have to cancel, but as others have said, it was the right thing to do. Still working on expenses, fee refunds and etc. To be resolved soon.

Got my hood back on today. i originally had covered the inside because i did not like the paint job under there. So had the bottom painted. Looks much nicer.

Took a ride also today since it was so warm out (80+ here today). got a chance to get a distant look at the outside changes from this winter. rally rear bumpers and the front one removed. it is fun to try the different looks. Maybe this one will last thru the summer before i change again... haha.

Had planned on still being in Florida until the end of the month but came home early. They cancelled the Sebring race and just about everything else. So may as well be home. could be a lot worse though, and is for some. at least i can play in the shop to keep my distance.

Knowing the early 19th century a bit, I'd say there was hardly any boredom for most folks until after WW2.
