Copper core plug wires

Does anyone know who sells the origional type ,copper core plug wires that MGs used to come with? Have not seen any in the various catalogues. I recall reading they are superior conductors and last longer than the new type wires.

I bought solid core (for my time trials racer) from my local Harley shop, but I've also seen it at speed shops (you'll probably have to order it).

My car has points at the moment, but I'm considering the Hitachi distributor conversion I've seen mentioned somewhere on this forum...I'm not sure if the extra electrical "noise" will create problems for the electronics, so I may end up switching back to suppression wires

You can also get "raw" solid-core plug wire and connectors from "aircraftspruce"

go here and click on "engine parts" and then "spark plugs".
