Hi all,
each year the city of Copenhagen (Denmark) is transferred into a racetrack, and for 2 days its Classic car racing in the streets, my friend came over from Californien to see this year.
Here are some clips for you all
First some FAAST British cars(just listen to no 93, that is ONE SWEET sounding Mini) this was saturday, when it was sunny & dry https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JII85W1A6k0

next up is sunday, the rain came (ALL day) and minutes after this was filmed (warm up lap) they started the race, and on the second lap, 4 of the cars smashed on the fastest part of the track, and 3 cars didnt make it.

But still after all the chrashed cars, they kept driving VERY fast and hard, right to the very last race, so we really got to see some good racing.

Great videos!

I did not know that Copenhagen ran an event like this.

It is somewhat similar to our Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP) here in the US. The PVGP is really a two-weekend event with the second weekend running on public streets (just like your Copenhagen event). The first weekend runs at a local racetrack: I always run that first weekend (see my "Events" link below).

Thanks again for the links.

Hi, thats also a great event you have there :cooler: some nice links too, very nice cars.

Copenhagen Historic GP is one weekend only, as they block off, the main entrence (North side) to Copenhagen.
It also have a big carshow in the middle of it all, my car was invited last year( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lQIK8OcjOY&feature=fvst )
so it was a lot cheaper (free both days)they normally charge 60 US$ for one day, and that does not include access to the Grandstands.
There is also a big party on the saturday evening.
Here is a link to the accident on lap 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjf5SeX7vVI
and here is what one of the forign drivers think of it all
