Proves that cops are sometimes great people. Some of my best friends are cops (but please don't tell them how I drive). :lol:
 
'round these parts, cops can't write defective equipment if they have defective equipment....but, ya gotta be careful.
 
I was stopped for the same reason a couple years ago, on the way home from a gig. I showed the officer the new bulb I had just purchased, that was sitting on the passenger seat. That took care of it. :smile:
 
In California,if they write you a ticket (fix-it ticket),
you have to get the problem fixed,& still pay the fine.It used
to be that you could get the problem corrected,& they would void
the ticket.

Saw that happen on an episode of Adam-12 many years ago. The officers were driving the police department's "lemon".
 
Delaware has a real joke of a bulb out ticket system. Cop writes you a ticket for a fake violation. You pay (no apeal process exists), no inspection of the fake violation. or its supposed fix.
