Cop stopped me for a burned out headlight

Great story, Bill. LOL!

Proves that cops are sometimes great people. Some of my best friends are cops (but please don't tell them how I drive).

'round these parts, cops can't write defective equipment if they have defective equipment....but, ya gotta be careful.

I was stopped for the same reason a couple years ago, on the way home from a gig. I showed the officer the new bulb I had just purchased, that was sitting on the passenger seat. That took care of it.

In California,if they write you a ticket (fix-it ticket),
you have to get the problem fixed,& still pay the fine.It used
to be that you could get the problem corrected,& they would void
the ticket.

Saw that happen on an episode of Adam-12 many years ago. The officers were driving the police department's "lemon".

Delaware has a real joke of a bulb out ticket system. Cop writes you a ticket for a fake violation. You pay (no apeal process exists), no inspection of the fake violation. or its supposed fix.

Good thing you didn't have the little girl in Judow's YouTube thread in your back seat!

Correct change lane......Hook Shot!
