Cooling System Question -1500 Midget

So, it's -35C with the windchill and I'm in the garage washing parts. (Jack - you can't ever tell me it's cold again /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif) Actually it wasn't too bad - probably about 40F in the garage. Anyway, I'm about 75% done cleaning/ painting etc the parts to reassemble the engine. Tonight, among other things I cleaned up the water pump/ thermostat housing.

On the back of the housing there was a long pipe attached which Bentley calls the "return water pipe" (pg 247 section 26.50.03 #13) Can someone remind me what this hooks up to?

Likewise on the housing itself, there is a hole for the "induction manifold hose adaptor" (#11 same diagram) where does this go?

TIA
JP

Hi - I'll try to attach a few pictures to show the heater and water hoses on my 76 1500 Midget. If you don't see any photos attached then email me at:
Tbirdrestr@aol.com
and I'll email you the pictures. I can't seem to attach any photos since Basil updated the forum.

Well I tried to add the photos but I couldn't do it.

Blame it on Basil. hehe.

If you still need help, email me - I have just finished redoing all the hoses on my 79 midget, so i am very familiar with the heater hoses!
