Cooling a 1275 in a BE

Hi all,
So the suspension is coming together for my BE. Next are the all new hydraulics and after that the drive train. So what do I need to do to cool the 1275? On my first BE, years ago, I re-cored the rad with additional tubes for my 948. No trouble. I would like to stay with the BE "look" rad. Can a 1275 plastic fan fit under the BE shroud? What abound the metal 1275 fan? Do I need to upgrade the radiator like last time? I will stay away from the electric fan if at all possible. No performance mods on the 1275, a early 1275 as you guys helped me with.
Since then, I've found the engine has a 25D dizzy from an MGA, a intake manifold from a 948 or 1100. I believe you told me it was a 1275 head. A real mixed breed! BTW, parts in jolly old england appear to be much cheaper than here. I guess my son will have to fill his suitcase with BE parts when he comes over from London in Feb or Mar!
Thanks, Scott

Scott,
I have upgraded to a 1275 this past year and had the radiator recored. It is the original BE radiator and I had it double cored. Twice as much cooling. It fits right where it came from. The cost is a bit much though. $500 for mine. I am using the plastic fan blade. All are working fine.

So the double core handles the 1275 OK - any other mods required?

I run 1275s in a few Bugeyes, most with stock downflow radiators, and some are 50 years old with no work done to them.
