Over the winter I had my engine completely rebuilt--torn down, hot tanked, etc. I also had installed a new Wizard AL radiator along with baffling directing the air through the radiator and not around it , etc.
Previously my car ran at around 180 and as with most Healeys was very quick to overheat (200+ indicated) in stop and go traffic for anything over 3-4 minutes, even with a Texas-cooler type fan and an auxiliary electric in front of the rad.
Now, even with ambient temperatures of 95 degrees the car runs at around 165 and does not get above 190 in traffic (Temperatures verified).
