I've been going through my Haynes manual and cant find out where this is located. The temp gauge is stuck on H when the ignition is on and I'm trying to isolate the problem. I have the replacement part but I'm stumped on where to install it.
OK, Kinda hard to see. As you are looking at the front of your engine, locate the thermostat housing then on your left hand side (the right side of the engine) go down about 4 - 6 inches... There she be! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Thanks alot. Found it and changed it out and now all's good once again with the temp gauge. Now all I have to do is some needle tweaking on the carb and its roadworthy again.
