Ugh! A "stop in the box and back up" event. I used to go to those in the late 60s/early 70s. Always good for a snapped Spridget axle or two.

But the cars were neat!
And even an Arnolt-Bristol!
And what looks like Formula Vee #1. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif
The Gullwing looked surpisingly agile for such a tank.
That brand-new Mustang looked like it fried it's front tires.

I have no idea what the big "AC-looking" thing with fins was?

The Midget and 356s look as good then as they do now.
Funny to see a TD in an autocross.

A real neat mix of cars there! I was amazed at how tight the Corvair was through those cones, better than a lot of the sports cars!! That Mustang was just absurd trying that!

I'd like to go back to 64 and run my car...
(I'm now in D-Mod where I have to go head-2-head w/ a couple of Elise drivers /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif )

Corvairs were quite good at autocross, actually ahead of their time.

I love it when the TR3 in the box couldn't find reverse. Where have I seen that before???
 
Great bit of video, the big coupe is almost certainly a Cunningham, I would say, and a very rare Arnolt Bristol was the car just before it.
Ludicrously tight course for the larger cars, even the Healey looks cumbersome. Mustang needs an LSD badly!
