Are you shopping for an EType for real? They are great cars! I which I still had the Coupe I owned in High School. It still exists in perfect original condition and is owned by a man in Denver. I've asked several times, but he won't sell it to me (I don't blame him).

Hi Basil;

I`m looking for a Nice Driver Cond. Series I or II Rdstr:

Personally; I can`t see a Brit Sports Car or Any Sports Car for that matter where the Top does`nt come down: I guess I`m just partial: I love the Wind in the Face & Hair Blowing all over & Getting a Nice Tan:

My TR4A is Great Fun but In My Opinion; Man, There is "Nothing" like an "E-Type"!!!

After having a `62; `67 & `69; I will have another in the Very Near Future even If I have to Sell My First Born!!

Have a Long Weekend; I`m going to look over the Videos Again;

Regards, Russ

Hi Basil;

Man; That sure is a Super Sweet Rdstr You have there! I can`t Imagine what on earth you can be doing to her to make her "Better"? She looks just fine to me!

I can`t wait till My next one comes along! There is a Gent on the BCF that has a `68 Series I - 1/2 Rdstr that He may or may Not Sell? Same Color Combo as Yours:

Have a Blast;

Regards, Russ

Well, thoise pictures were taken several years ago and the car just got old and tired. I am doing a complete ground-up restoration.

Basil:

That is great, and also expensive.

That guy is Csaba Csere, Editor-In-Chief of Car and Driver. I'm sure he was wearing a lap belt.

When he did that piece, he was an active participant on the Jag-Lovers E-Type list. He admitted, on the list, that he did it with very old tyres and took a lot of heat. As I recall, he went out and bought new tyres soon after. He is a real car guy and a very interesting contributer but got too busy and left the list a couple of years ago.

The Series 1 E only had a lap belt anyway.
