Cool breeze scoop

In my quest for a cooler AH I found Moss sells a device for a Mazda that scoops air into the cab. Does anyone know if this will work on our cars or can be modified? https://www.mossmiata.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=79245&SortOrder=10

The instructions for the "Cool Breeze Scoop" don't sound like it would fit a Healey windshield.

In the '70s, this is an approach I took during a few summer trips when the Healey was my only car. Although my implementation was created with some sheet metal and attached with tape, it did work sufficiently well but kept loosening. Based upon Florida's instantly changing weather, I wonder how easy the top could be erected with the scoop in place?

A thought and a definite alternative.
