I welded in a new metal strip around the base where the top fastens at the back and around the corners. I have the plastic pieces to mount back on there and everything, but what I don't know is where to drill the holes. Is there a template or something somehwere? or measurements to take?
 
Not sure I'm following the question. Is this for your '71 Midget? If so, and if your're looking for the measurements and photos for the Tenax (and other) fasteners on the boot deck end of the bonnet, I provided all of that (from my '73 Midget) to another list member (Jim Horton/Midgie) a couple months ago.
