I have been working on my '75 TR6 I got from my fathers estate. Just finished rebuilding the carbs and now am turning my attention to the top. I noticed where it mounts to the body there are "supposed" to be 3 screws per side. Recessed flat heads. Mine has 2 per side, one missing. I was going to do the obvious thing and remove one to get the size but when I started to unscrew it the screw loosened but didn't back out. It was like there was a lose nut on the back side and I stopped there in fear of losing it in the body. So my question is does anyone know the size/length/pitch of the screws used there and if I removed one it the nut on the backside captured for adjustment or will it fall into the body? This is the first of many projects to get it up to running condition.
