hi guys, heres the next in my list of questions that im sure will go on and on, i am looking in my victoria british catalogue, and am seeing an engine gasket set for a conversion, what conversion are they talking about???

There are two gasket sets. A head set, which is what you need to do the upper end, and a Conversion set, which consists of the gaskets for the lower half.
No idea why it's called a conversion set, but it seems to be an across the board standard for any engine I've ever worked on.
Be advised though, the oil seals don't come with either of them.

Ack... The Payen sets of old had ALL the seals/gaskets to make "conversion" from old to new... Now what am I s'posed to do?!?!?
 
I too liked it when I got em all in one packet.
 
Makes sense to me. Had not thought of it in that way.
