Conv top webbing question

I need to replace the webbing for the conv top. Can someone tell me where the webbing get riveted to on the front header. Is it on the top of the header or does it wrap around the header and then get riveted? Or maybe it gets riveted underneath? Thanks in advanced.

mine is on top.

On top and I hope you have the little medal plate that goes on top of the doubled over belt. It should be doubled and sewn back and forth across the grain in front and at the back. Do yourself a favor and do not get it as tigh as you can, a little flex is better, as it tends to shrink and getting the top up in the cold is a two or three person job. When you put your top on where the side snaps go, mark where you need to make the hole and give it another 1/4 inch. It will save a lot of cussing in the future.
