For Sale Conundrum - Too Many Bugeyes

I've got two Bugeye projects at my home presently. Lots of engines, gearboxes, parts to go with both of these cars. Now I have an opportunity to purchase two more Bugeyes. The seller is determined to sell them together. One car is disassembled, plastic media blasted, and epoxy-primed. This car is cleaner than one of my current projects. The other car is complete but requires full restoration and has some rust on the usual places. There is also a 1275 engine and wire wheels parts that go with the cars.

I lack the space for two more cars at my house. I already have (5) 1275 engines and I have zero interest in the complete car. I'm going to look at the cars on Thursday, Dec 8th. The cars are presently located in an airplane hangar in Central Texas. If you are looking for a project and lots of spare parts including a steel bonnet that I don't need, let me know. Perhaps we can work together to buy both cars. I may also soon have an extra Bugeye hardtop that I don't need.

I looked at the cars on Thursday, December 8th. They are located at two private airstrips near Briggs, TX (northwest of Austin). The disassembled car is an early 9-stud Bugeye with perfect floor pans, door posts, door sills, and an uncut dash (no radio). It has a little rust behind the rear wheel arches and a damage to the box member just above the front crossmember (that the steering rack bolts onto). Comes with (1) 948, (1) smoothcase, (1) 1275 complete, (1) 1275 short block, and (2) ribcase gearboxes. Also comes with two sets of doors (one set rusty) and boxes of all original parts removed from the car. The complete car is a later Bugeye with rust in all the usual places. Seller is now willing to split them up. Was originally asking $5500 for both, but now taking offers and willing to help transport with his trailer. See photos. Seller is Marcus Bates. He can be reached at 512-699-5455 or mlbjr54@gmail.com.
