As I mentally restore the 3A I have, I've been thinking of changing out to more of a late TR4 suspension setup. This would use the TR4-6 upper ball joints, and the 3 degree castor trunnions. I think I've heard pros/cons of the conversion before, but I still like the centering/stability of the castor conversion.
I have most of these parts in dusty corners of my garage already, except for the lower trunnions. So my question is: if I stayed with 0 degrees for now, can I still use the TR4-6 upper a arms and ball joints?
Since this is at the thought process step at the moment, I am opening to objections on the idea as well!
